Want to make a difference in the world? Chemical Engineering (Process and Food Technology) focuses on developing more efficient and environmentally friendly production processes, which means more sustainable consumer products.
Start by first learning about the different processes: for example, how to make cheese, purify water and develop chemical products. Can these be done faster, smarter, and cleaner?
Complete a 20-week internship at one of the many partners we have. This could be at an engineering firm, or a pharmaceutical company. You will also take a minor in this year, to deepen your knowledge in a particular field.
Choose the area you want to specialise in – chemical or food. Then complete a project at a company where you apply everything you have learnt previously.
